Rivertown Lion receives Helen Keller Award

Winona Rivertown Lion Kathy McGuire recently received the Helen Keller Award from the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation and the Rivertown Lions Club.

Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation developed the Helen Keller Sight Award as a tribute to Helen Keller, who challenged the Lions to become “knights of the blind.”  The foundation supports Lions Gift of Sight, the Lions Children’s Eye Clinic, the Macular Degeneration Center, the Minnesota Lions Eye Surgery Center and other Vision Foundation projects.
