Third grade students around Winona County are looking forward to a virtual Progressive Ag Safety Day, hosted by the Winona County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD). The SWCD is seeking support from local businesses and community members. Your partnership will provide supplies and materials to students; empowering them with the tools they need to stay safe at home, school, and on the farm.
The virtual safety day event is being offered May 5-6 and May 18-20 to accommodate as many classroom schedules as possible. Third grade students will learn about a variety of topics, including: ATV/UTV safety, bicycle safety, electrical safety, stress/mental health, and much more. Hands-on activities will be provided to students, as well.
Support and partnerships through donations are required in order to provide students with a bag of materials that will contain hands-on materials, activities, and safety equipment to each student. We need your help to reach our goal of $2,000. You can provide these students with the tools they need to stay safe.
To donate, call Amanda Gentry at 507-523-2171 ext. 114 or e-mail email@example.com. Donations are requested to be made by March 15 to facilitate ordering of supplies. Thank you for your consideration of this important event.
