Christmas House Tour was great success

On behalf of all the members of the Winona County Historical Society, I would like to thank all those who helped make the 29th annual Christmas House Tour such a success. First and most importantly, I would like to thank the homeowners who so kindly opened up their homes to the public. They were all great homes and the approximately 375 people who attended the tour this year enjoyed each and every one of them. The tour included the homes of Jonelle Hubbard, Dan and Natalie Matejka, Bob Skeels, Matt and Amy Esch, Nick and Kristina Lemmer, Fastenal Museum and St. John’s Church. Many people said it was one of the more interesting tours we have had. A special thanks also to Fran Edstrom and Bob Skeels for their help in finding the homes, the volunteers who helped staff the homes during the tour, local media for helping publicize the event, the Winona Flutists and to all those who purchased tickets.

Mark your calendars now for the first Sunday in December 2015 for another great tour of Winona area homes.
