There’s one thing that Democrats and Republicans seem to agree on: The upcoming election is the most important one of our lifetimes!
I know who I’ll be voting for. Why? I believe in the sanctity of truth; racial, social and economic justice; health care for all as a human right; children not being forcibly separated from their parents; and the priority of combatting climate change for the survival of humankind and all of God’s precious species.
If this describes ideals of an America you want to live in, I urge you to vote for Joe Biden for president.
Did you know that you can vote from the safety of your home? If you want to do so, be sure to request an “absentee ballot” ASAP so you have plenty of time to return it to make sure your ballot gets counted. (Note: Although the ballot signature envelope has a section for a witness signature, as stated in the instructions, a witness signature is not required.)
Thanks to the League of Women Voters for describing, step-by-step, how to vote from home at lwvmn.org/vote-from-home.
