The Cochrane-Fountain City (C-FC) High School varsity cross country teams traveled to the Twin Cities on Friday, September 24, to compete in one of the largest cross country meets in the US. There were 50 teams competing in the boy’s small school division, and the girls had 45 other teams to contend with. Throughout the day, colleges and universities also competed to create a steady stream of runners, which made for quite the event!

Ending the day of competition were the girls, and they placed 37th as a team with Reese Ehrat crossing the line first for the Pirates in 46th. Breilynn Halverson was next at 58th, and rounding out the scoring was Emma Mann 209th, Ana Knecht (269th), Haili Brone (270th) and Kaili Hager (305th).
