Carl P. Lindmark, 85, of Plainview, Minn. and formerly of Kellogg, Minn., passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Green Prairie Rehabilitation Center in Plainview.
Carl Peter was born November 9, 1935, in Kellogg to Carl Mauritz and Beatrice (Giem) Lindmark. He graduated from Kellogg High School in 1953. He was formerly employed as a miller at Red Wing Milling Co. in Red Wing, Minn., and as a spice compounding technician at Watkins in Winona. He was married to Nancy Dornack, and they had three children Tracy, Amanda and Carl Jr. They later divorced. He later married Judith Hanson and she preceded him in death, December 19, 2020.
He is survived by two daughters, Tracy Lindmark and Amanda (Robert) Van Pelt; a granddaughter, Jillian Van Pelt; a sister, Laura Schurhammer; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Carl Lindmark Jr; and brother-in-law, Donald Schurhammer.
The family extends grateful thanks to his doctor, Green Prairie Place Assisted Living & Rehabilitation, and Mayo Hospice for the loving and compassionate care Carl received from all of them.
Committal prayers will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Agnes Cemetery in Kellogg.
