Monday, August 23

•At 8:45 a.m. officers received a report that two boxes of fishing lures were stolen from a boat docked at Dick’s Marine. 

•At 10:30 a.m. officers received a report that items were stolen from a storage unit on the 900 block of Frontenac Drive. Officers are awaiting a list of the items. 

•At 12:05 p.m. officers received a report that a package was stolen from a porch on the 100 block of West Eighth Street. 

•At 3:35 p.m. officers arrested Janna Marie Chandler, 47, of Winona, and referred her to the county attorney for potential charges of habitual driving after revocation, not having proof of insurance and attempting to evade motor vehicle tax. A possible driving while intoxicated charge is also pending test results, police said. According to the report, officers saw Chandler driving a motorcycle on the 50 block of West Second Street and knew she did not have a license. 

Tuesday, August 24

•At 8:44 a.m. officers arrested Sean Michael Emmons, 37, of Winona, on outstanding warrants and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. Officers saw an uncovered recreational fire near a permanent structure on the 100 block of East 10th Street and went to talk to the person standing by it, identified as Emmons, according to the report. They learned Emmons had an outstanding warrant and allegedly found a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine with him. 

•At 6:36 p.m. officers received a report that an outboard motor was stolen from a boat docked at Dick’s Marine. 

 

Wednesday, August 25

•At 1:56 p.m. officers received a report that the driver-side headlight of a vehicle was damaged on the 100 block of East Fifth Street. 

•At 5:08 p.m. officers received a report that a small wooden jewelry box last seen five months ago was stolen on the 150 block of Pleasant Hill Drive. 

•At 6:15 p.m. officers arrested Jada Victoria Anne, 43, of Winona, and referred her to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a domestic abuse no contact order. Anne allegedly went to a location on the 100 block of Mankato Avenue that the order prohibits her from visiting. 

•At 9:13 p.m. officers received a report that three adults fought at Midtown Foods. Officers are working to trespass the individuals from the store. 

•At 9:40 p.m. officers received a report that an air conditioning unit was tampered with in an apparent attempt to steal it or enter an apartment on the 100 block of Main Street. Officers are working to identify suspects. 

Thursday, August 26

•At 8:15 a.m. officers received a report that four catalytic converters were stolen on Mobile Drive. 

•At 8:30 a.m. officers received a report that a vehicle windshield was damaged on the 1500 block of West Ninth Street. 

•At 9:34 a.m officers received a report that a package was stolen off a porch on the 400 block of Laird Street. 

Friday, August 27

•At 9:37 a.m. officers received a report that a tree branch snapped and fell onto a parked vehicle on the 600 block of Lafayette Street. 

•At 10:05 a.m. officers received a report that a package was stolen on the 100 block of West Third Street. 

•At 6:15 p.m. officers received a report that a fuel line was stolen from a boat docked at Dick’s Marine.

Saturday, August 28

•At 2:20 a.m. officers arrested Jake Andrew Salzsiedler, 21, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers initially pulled him over for allegedly driving without headlights on Fifth and Huff streets. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.26 percent. 

Sunday, August 29

•At 12:29 a.m. officers received a report that an unknown person threw a brick through a window of Gabby’s Bar, then fled.

•At 7:30 p.m. officers receive a report that a mirror of a vehicle was broken overnight on the 1700 block of West Seventh Street. 

Monday, August 30

•At 1:42 a.m. officers arrested Demoine Solo Wade, 42, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of driving while intoxicated and driving after cancellation inimical to public safety. Officers initially pulled him over for allegedly crossing the fog line and centerline while driving over the bridge from Wisconsin. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.17 percent.

Monday, August 23

•At 8:48 a.m. deputies received a report that golf clubs were stolen out of a vehicle parked at Jimmy G’s Bar in Utica. 

Thursday, August 26

•At 7:41 p.m. deputies referred Korie Lee Maynard, 47, of Ettrick, to the county attorney for a potential charge of theft. Deputies received a report that a Bobcat skid steer was stolen in Dakota. The skid steer was later located in Trempealeau County, and Maynard was taken into custody there.

Saturday, August 28

•At 4:24 p.m. a 22-year-old La Crosse, Wis., woman was taken to a local hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries in a crash on I-90 at mile marker 270. According to the report, she was driving east when she went off the road, hit the guardrail and rolled. Alcohol was not involved and she was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
