Winona Police 

Monday, May 17

•At 4:35 p.m. officers arrested James Arthur Lee, 60, of Mason City, Iowa, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fourth-degree driving while intoxicated. According to the report, officers observed Lee allegedly driving in the wrong lane of traffic on 11th and Grand streets. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.08 percent. 

Thursday, May 20

•At 8:10 p.m. officers received a report that a gaming console and games were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 1000 block of West Seventh Street.

Friday, May 21

•At 11:48 a.m. officers arrested Jermaine Lavelle Ross, 29, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of domestic assault and obstructing the legal process. Ross allegedly hit someone’s glasses off their face and refused to get into an officer’s squad car after his arrest on the 950 block of Frontenac Drive. 

•At 8:44 p.m. officers cited Christopher Pete Sage, 47, of Winona, with fourth-degree criminal damage to property after he allegedly threw a bicycle at a residence in Winona. 

Sunday, May 23

•At 2:19 p.m. officers received a report that a weed trimmer was stolen from a garage on the 700 block of East Eighth Street.

Saturday, May 22

•At 5:51 p.m. deputies arrested Matthew Richard Kohler, 26, of Lewiston, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after observing him allegedly cross the centerline on Highway 61 at mile marker 43. Potential charges are pending test results.
