Tuesday, June 22

•    At 2:35 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a bicycle on the 550 block of Harriet Street. 

•    At 2:37 p.m. officers received a report that a business on Gould Street received threats from someone known to the owners. The incident is under investigation. 

•    At 7:34 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a temporary license plate off a vehicle at the Riverport Inn. 

Wednesday, June 23

•    At 8:32 a.m. officers received a report that a man who appeared to be intoxicated damaged two light poles on the 200 block of Main Street on June 21 at about 10:45 p.m. The incident is under investigation. 

•    At 4:38 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a catalytic converter from a vehicle on the 100 block of West Mark Street. 

Thursday, June 24

•    At 9:32 a.m. officers arrested Brandon James Zaborowski, 28, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of violating a court order and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. He allegedly was in contact with someone protected by the court order, and he allegedly had drug paraphernalia that tested positive for methamphetamine on the 650 block of East Second Street. 

•    At 11 a.m. officers received a report that someone damaged a vehicle’s bumper on the 450 block of East Sarnia Street. 

•    At 11:25 a.m. officers cited a juvenile for allegedly running away on McNally Drive. 

•    At 3:23 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a motorcycle on Lennox Street. 

•    At 4:37 p.m. officers received a report that someone forgot their cellphone in a cart at Walmart, and when they went back to get it, it was gone. The incident is under investigation. 

•    At 6:50 p.m. officers received a report that someone cut a muffler off a vehicle on the 250 block of East Sarnia Street between Monday morning and 5 p.m. Wednesday. 

•    At 8:33 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a vacuum cleaner at Walmart. 

Friday, June 25

•    At 1:10 a.m. officers received a report that a man and two women on Third and Main streets had taken down “no parking” signs. The officers had the individuals put the signs back. 

•    At 11:30 a.m. officers referred Devin Carlton Zink, 31, to the county attorney for a potential charge of fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and arrested him on prior warrants. According to the report, officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the Fleet Farm parking lot, and they allegedly found that Zink had a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine. 

•    At 4:35 p.m. officers received a report that someone may have stolen a phone at Walmart. The incident is under investigation. 

Saturday, June 26

•    At 6:50 a.m. officers received a report that someone stole a street sign and pole on Fifth and Market streets. 

•    At 10:30 officers cited a juvenile for running away and returned them home. 

•    At 2:08 p.m. officers received a report that someone arrived home to find a person hiding in their garage on the 1700 block of West Broadway. Nothing was taken or damaged. 

•    At 7:20 p.m. officers received a report of a domestic disturbance that reportedly took place on June 11. The incident is under investigation. 

Sunday, June 27

•    At 8:31 a.m. officers received a report that someone spilled white paint in the alley behind another person’s residence on the 100 block of West Broadway. 

•    At 3:35 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a bicycle on the 600 block of East Sarnia Street around June 21. 

•    At 4:11 p.m. officers received a report that someone stole a lawn ornament on the 250 block of Mankato Avenue. 

Monday, June 28

•    At about 7:30 a.m. officers arrested Christopher Michael Brown, 41, of Wabasha, Minn., and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fleeing police officers. The Winona Police Department reportedly received word from the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office that someone they were pursuing was driving over the bridge into Winona. Winona police officers then pulled the person, identified as Brown, over on Fourth and Winona streets.

Sunday, June 20

•    At 4:56 a.m. deputies arrested Julius Lee Jones, 31, of Lewiston, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of misdemeanor domestic assault after he reportedly made threatening statements toward and assaulted someone in Lewiston. 

Tuesday, June 22

•    At 6:50 p.m. deputies arrested Michael Thomas Schneider, 41, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of fifth-degree domestic assault. He allegedly assaulted someone on the 23,000 block of East Burns Valley Road. 

Wednesday, June 23

•    At 11:29 a.m. deputies received a report that someone stole items with a combined value of between $3,000 and $5,000 from an Altura residence in which no one currently lives. The items include a riding mower, weed trimmer, chainsaws, antique toys and crock pots. 

Friday, June 25

•    At 10:50 a.m. deputies received a report that someone stole a generator from a Rollingstone apartment building between 10 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. on Friday. 

Saturday, June 26

•    At 12:46 a.m. deputies arrested Michael William Allen, 41, of Utica, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Deputies initially pulled him over for allegedly speeding on the 800 block of Highway 14. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.09 percent. 

Sunday, June 27

•    At 1:31 a.m. deputies arrested Joshua James Meyers, 43, of St. Charles, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of gross-misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Deputies initially pulled him over for allegedly crossing the center line and fog line on the 20,000 block of County Road 37 near Elba. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.17 percent.
