Winona Police 

Tuesday, July 13

• At 12:28 p.m. an individual reported that they were verbally threatened by another person with a gun in their waistband on the 1700 block of West Seventh Street. According to the report, officers located the person, and they did not have a gun at that time. There were no charges.  

• At 3:27 p.m. officers received a report of possible theft by an employee at McDonalds near Highway 61. 

• At 5:03 p.m. officers received a report that a backyard fence was damaged on the 500 block of East Broadway Street. 

• At 7:25 p.m. officers arrested Hunter Matthew Mccutchen, 25, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a domestic abuse no contact order. According to the report, officers discovered Mccutchen with the person who has a domestic abuse no contact order against him on the 650 block of West Sarnia Street. 

Wednesday, July 14

• At 11:09 a.m. officers received a report that a package was stolen from a porch on the 350 block of West Mark Street. 

Thursday, July 15

• At 8:50 a.m. officers received a report from city employees that three trees in Belmont Whitten Park were cut with a saw in a way that caused them to die. 

Friday, July 16

• Officers received a report of two gasoline thefts with respective values of about $19 and $10 at the Kwik Trip on Huff and Sarnia streets. The incidents are under investigation. 

• Officers received a report that a checkbook was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of Mankato Avenue. One check was cashed, according to the report. The incident is under investigation. 

• At 6:32 p.m. officers arrested Michael Richard Zeller, 39, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a harassment restraining order. He allegedly sent over 350 texts on July 15 to the person who has the restraining order against him. Officers then saw Zeller on Ninth and Sioux streets on July 16 and arrested him, according to the report. 

Saturday, July 17

• At 4:50 a.m. officers received a report that someone punched another person on 10th and Lafayette streets. The parties have been provided with papers with which to make their statements about the incident. 

• At 7:29 p.m. officers cited Michael Richard Zeller, 39, of Winona, with violating a harassment restraining order after he allegedly texted the person who has the restraining order against him while in the Winona County Jail. 

• At 8:28 p.m. officers arrested Brian Keith Moore, 33, of Columbia Heights, Minn., and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of violating a domestic abuse no contact order. Officers initially pulled him over for allegedly speeding on Mankato Avenue and Frontenac Drive. They then found the passenger in his vehicle was the person with the domestic abuse no contact order against him. 

• At 11:27 p.m. officers arrested Trinity Brian Bolduan, 41, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers initially pulled him over for allegedly having a faulty headlight on Riverview Drive. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.08 percent. 

Sunday, July 18

• At 5 p.m. officers received a report that packages were stolen from a residence on the 100 block of East Eighth Street. 

• At 5 p.m. officers received a report that a snowblower was stolen on the 700 block of East Fifth Street. 

• At 7:27 p.m. officers received a report that a bike was stolen from the bike rack at the Bob Welch Aquatic Center. 

• Officers received a report that a vehicle struck a parked vehicle on the 250 block of West Seventh Street, causing the parked vehicle to hit other parked vehicles. According to the report, officers located the initial striking vehicle, and the incident is still under investigation. 

• Officers received a report that someone allegedly cut the tires of someone else’s bike after an argument between multiple people on the 1700 block of Kraemer Drive. The incident is under investigation. 

 

Winona County

Thursday, July 15

• At 11:26 p.m. deputies cited Jamie Lee Hahn, 40, of Utica, with disorderly conduct after he allegedly yelled, screamed and swore at a house in Utica. 

• At 11:51 p.m. deputies assisted other local law enforcement agencies with searching for a missing six year old in Dakota. According to the report, the child was found after two hours of searching and returned home. 

Saturday, July 17

• At 2:02 a.m. deputies arrested Jannette Ann Spencer, 53, of Altura, and referred her to the county attorney for a potential charge of driving while intoxicated. Deputies initially pulled her over for allegedly weaving on county roads 24 and 37. A breath test reportedly measured her blood-alcohol content at 0.17 percent. 

Sunday, July 18

• At 3:30 p.m. deputies received a report that a 1999 Toyota Corolla was stolen on the 31,000 block of Highway 76 near Ridgeway between July 12 and July 18.
