Monday, September 20

• At 9:54 a.m. officers received a report that four fishing rods and reels were stolen from a boat at the Winona Marina. 

• At 11:56 a.m. a man reported from the 900 block of East Broadway that he was struck in the face on September 11. The incident is under investigation. 

• At 1:52 p.m. officers received a report that a tire of a vehicle was slashed on the 1700 block of West Seventh Street between 3 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 19. 

• At 3:05 p.m. officers received a report that two pairs of athletic shoes were stolen on the 150 block of East Mark Street. 

• At 3:55 p.m. officers received a report that a cat toy and shirt were stolen at Walmart. 

Tuesday, September 21

• At 9:31 a.m. officers received a report that a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of West Ninth Street in the last three weeks. • At 12:31 p.m. officers received a report that four cell phones were stolen from a residence on the 650 block of East 10th Street. • At 1:37 p.m. officers received a report that an unknown man took out a section of a fence on the 250 block of Walnut Street. • At 4:51 p.m. officers received a report of money allegedly being stolen from the bank account of a vulnerable adult on the 1700 block of Gilmore Avenue. Wednesday, September 22• At 1:10 a.m. officers cited Tamara Brooks, 24, of Winona, with domestic assault after responding to a report of two women fighting and another person trying to separate them on the 750 block of East Mark Street. • At 12:26 p.m. officers received a report of an alleged sexual assault involving two teenagers. The incident is under investigation. 

Thursday, September 23

• At 2:22 p.m. officers received a report that the truck of a vehicle was scratched on Frontenac Drive. 

Friday, September 24

• At 7:02 a.m. officers received a report of an alleged sexual assault of a child. The incident is under investigation. 

• At 2:24 p.m. officers received a report of a child allegedly slapping another child on Homer Road. The incident is under investigation. 

Saturday, September 25

• At 2:29 a.m. officers arrested Adam Richard Peterson, 45, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of driving while intoxicated. Officers initially pulled him over for allegedly speeding through an alley on Fifth and Lafayette streets. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.10 percent. 

Sunday, September 26

• At 4:29 a.m. officers arrested Jason Theodore Tyrmopoulous, 43, of Winona, and referred him to the county attorney for potential charges of driving while intoxicated, test refusal and leaving the scene of an accident. Officers pulled him over after he allegedly hit another vehicle on the 400 block of Sioux Street, his vehicle then stopped at nearby railroad tracks. 

Monday, September 27

• At 12:21 a.m. officers received a report that vehicle windows were broken out overnight on the 350 block of East Fifth Street. A person of interest was named, and officers are looking to speak with that person. 

 

Winona County 

Sunday, September 26

• At 1:33 a.m. deputies arrested Bailey Richard Ratliff, 24, of Blaine, Minn., and referred him to the county attorney for a potential charge of driving while intoxicated. Deputies initially pulled him over for allegedly crossing the center and fog lines on Gilmore Avenue and Garfield Street. A breath test reportedly measured his blood-alcohol content at 0.17 percent. 

• At 3:07 a.m. deputies arrested Timothy Michael Petersen, 21, of Red Wing, Minn., on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Potential charges are pending blood-test results. Deputies initially pulled him over for allegedly driving without headlights on Harriet and 11th streets.

Thursday, September 23

• At 7:13 p.m. a 47-year-old Winona woman and a 77-year-old Winona woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Winona Health after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 43 and Hamilton Street. According to the report, the two vehicles crashed when driving west on Highway 43. Alcohol was reportedly not involved.
